Anyone working in the Marine industry - from private yachts to commercial vessels and offshore installations - is entitled to these special discounted air fares.
Moreover this includes offshore as well as onshore crew and workers.
Proof for entitlement can be any of the following:
- A letter on company/yacht letterhead outlining the need to travel.
This needs to include the Passenger Name, Name of Vessel, and the Port of Registry
- A Seaman’s log book.
- A Company contract showing the details of employment and the embarkation port.
It is strongly advised that the above proof of entitlement is always carried when travelling on a Marine Travel Ticket.
